About this Campaign

 
The Iran Watchlist is an initiative of New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, launched in partnership with United Against Nuclear Iran and Iran180.  The campaign was developed to leverage the power of New York's economic market as a force for positive change in Iran. 

By shining a light on companies doing business in Iran and allowing consumers to directly apply pressure on these companies, the Iran Watchlist seeks to undermine economic and financial support for the Iranian regime.  The campaign reinforces international sanctions aimed at compelling the Iranian regime to abandon its illicit nuclear program, support for terrorism, and gross human rights violations.
